Close Your OpaBet Account — Step by Step

If you want to take a break or close your OpaBet account permanently, you have several options depending on how long you need. Here's a quick walkthrough of each, including what happens to your balance and your data.

Cool-off (short break)

In the responsible gambling section of your account you can activate a cool-off from 24 hours up to 6 weeks. You can't log in or place bets during this period. Pending bets are settled normally.

At the end of the period, access reopens automatically. For longer breaks, self-exclusion is the right choice.

Self-exclusion

You can self-exclude from your OpaBet account for a defined period or permanently. When the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland's national register launches, you'll also be able to self-exclude across all licensed Irish operators in one step.
