If you feel that gambling has become a problem for you or someone close, asking for help is the first step. Ireland has several free and confidential services dedicated to gambling-related harm, for both players and their families.

Gambling Care Ireland: 1800 936 725 (free and confidential). Live chat and email support are also available at gamblingcare.ie, run by trained counsellors.
Specialist services
Extern Problem Gambling, Dunlewey Addiction Services and the HSE's addiction services offer one-to-one counselling and group sessions across the country. Aware supports people whose mental health is affected by gambling.
Peer support
Gamblers Anonymous Ireland holds regular meetings in cities across the country and online. Sharing your story with people who have been through the same situation is often a powerful step.
Support for families
